Full storyline

The Supreme Court Collegium recommended the elevation of Mrs. Justice Sunita Agarwal as a Judge in the Supreme Court. The Collegium also recommended the elevation of Mr. Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya as a Judge in the Supreme Court. The Collegium further recommended the elevation of Mr. Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh as a Judge in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the three names on September 28, according to Hindustan Times and the Supreme Court of India. Hindustan Times and the Supreme Court of India reported that Justice Sunita Agarwal was Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court at the time of the recommendation. Hindustan Times and the Supreme Court of India differed on the full list of the three judges recommended, with one account naming Justice Sunita Agarwal, Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court, Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, and Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.

All the proposals for appointment to the High Court of Delhi and the recommendations for elevation to the Supreme Court were approved by the Supreme Court Collegium, according to the Supreme Court of India.
